Rock Bluff Falls
Rock Bluff Falls is located on Mateson Creek off of Highway 45. Visit in the spring or after a rain to see the full effect of the falls, otherwise the water level may be quite low.
Getting There
Take Highway 45 about 2.6 miles south of Paulding and park off the side of the road; follow GPS coordinates to falls. If you don’t have GPS, park farther south on Highway 45 where guardrails line both sides of road and follow Mateson Creek west about 0.25 miles to falls (detailed directions available in Waterfalls of Michigan)
Note: Please travel safely and responsibly when you are visiting the Porcupine Mountains and Ontonagon County. Some businesses and facilities may have modified hours or procedures; please contact them directly for information. See Michigan’s latest coronavirus orders here.
