These out-of-the-way falls run through a sandstone gorge as the Onion Creek traverses the landscape before reaching the Ontonagon River.
Getting There
From Kenton (on M-28), take NF-16 north to Skogland Road; take Skogland Road west for 2.9 miles to Forest Road 1100; after two miles turn left on Forest Road 1130 and park at open grassy field on left; from parking area, head southwest to second meadow—access to Onion Creek is at bottom of hill (detailed directions)
