Little Union Gorge Falls
The Little Union River is located near the artist-in-residence cabin in the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park. These falls vary widely depending on water level; during dry periods, there may be no falls at all, but in spring or after rains, they can be impressive.
Getting There
Take South Boundary Road to Union River Outpost Campground; turn left at campground until you reach an iron bridge; falls are about 100 feet upstream
Note: Please travel safely and responsibly when you are visiting the Porcupine Mountains and Ontonagon County. Some businesses and facilities may have modified hours or procedures; please contact them directly for information. See Michigan’s latest coronavirus orders here.
