Golfers will find fun on the links and beautiful scenery at two local courses. The Ontonagon Golf Club is a 9-hole course located just east of downtown Ontonagon that is open to the public and has a full bar, banquet facility, and pro shop.

In Watersmeet—about a 45-minute drive from Ontonagon—golfers can tee off at the Lac Vieux Desert Golf Course. This 18-hole course is on the grounds of the Northern Waters Casino Resort and caters to golfers of all skill levels. The course also has a full bar in its club house and a fully stocked pro shop.
